Noting in an interview with Ina Fried at AsiaD that Huawei is the largest company many people have never heard of, North American R&D chief John Roese said the company has more people doing research than almost any of its rivals.
Nearly half the company is in R&D, with more than 50,000 people working on almost every aspect of technology from cellphones to the networks they run on.
